Scope
The reconstruction of the batter, drainage culvert and pavement at Ch32 on the Mount Buller Rd, Mount Buller.
Challenge
Large trees needed to be removed from the side of the mountain and working on the side of a mountain with significant drops off the side. Long delays for motorists and the project was on an internal corner of the mountain making truck movement in and out challenging.
Solution
OLEX’s team carefully devised a methodology that would ensure the safety of road users and staff at all times. The large tree removal was completed systematically and safely by OLEX’s expert subcontractor arborists. The project was completed on time, on budget and most importantly, without incident.
