Scope
O’LEX Civil were engaged by the Rural City of Wangaratta to complete the reconstruction of Sanford Road in Wangaratta, this project involved the full pavement reconstruction of over 4500m2, 500lm of drainage pipes and 1000lm of kerb.
Challenge
Old AC Watermains, significant service clashes, large areas of unsuitable subgrade, were just a few of the challenges on this project, the project also involved working in the vicinity of rail lines.
Solution
Through perseverance, thorough consultation with client PM O’LEX’s team were able to deliver an amazing outcome on a highly utilised thoroughfare and despite the significant challenges delivered on budget.
