Scope
O’LEX was engaged by Saputo Dairy Australia to reconstruct Ponds 1 & 4 at the Cobram facility in Victoria, The project entailed the transfer of approx. 16,000m3 of saline material from the ponds, the removal and disposal of the old HDPE Liner, the importation of approx. 1000m3 of clay to reconstruct the ponds and complete HDPE relining.
Challenge
The Saline material was extremely difficult to move, and some specialist equipment and methodologies were required to achieve this project.
Solution
O’LEX adapted quickly to issues with materials and brittle liner, engineering specialist solutions to successfully, safely and without any environmental impact.
