Scope
O’LEX Civil were engaged by the Moira Shire Council to complete the reconstruction of Gilmore Street in Yarrawonga, this project
involved the full pavement reconstruction of over 12,100m2, 900lm of drainage pipes and 2,200lm of kerb, 3,334m2 of Footpath, 15550m2 of other concrete works and over 14,500m2 of landscaping.
Challenge
Site subgrade conditions, and working adjacent to a school and major thoroughfare presented numerous challenges throughout the construction of this project.
Solution
With careful planning, traffic management and a dedicated construction team, OLEX were able to successfully complete this project without incident and achieve an incredibly high standard.
