Scope
O’LEX was engaged by Moira Shire Council to complete the Flood Recovery works on shoulders and sealed pavement on the PicolaBarmah Road, the project consisted of 3,500m2 of stabilising and sealing and 44kms of Shoulder grading.
Challenge
Additional heavy vehicles were being diverted via this road due to another bigde being closed due to flood damage, this made traffic a challenge.
Solution
OLEX in conjunction with the client implemented multiple traffic controllers rather than sequenced lights to assist the traffic movements through site, and ensure that productivity was still achieved with minimal disruption to traffic..
